The Glebegate Restaurant is operated by the Hospitality & Catering department to provide a realistic working environment in which our students can achieve a nationally recognised qualification and gain essential work experience.

 

We are open to the public and offer three course lunches and a fine dining dinner experience. We use fresh and locally-sourced produce wherever possible and our restaurant is fully licensed offering a broad range of quality wines and beers from local and continental brewers.

LUNCH MENU

Leek and potato soup, julienne deep fried leeks

Starters

Sesame coated salmon goujons, wasabi and herb mayonnaise, pea and watercress salad, lemon

Black pudding, bacon, poached egg salad, grain mustard

Mains

Tempura battered cod, pea and mint puree, chips, tartare sauce and lemon

Breast of pesto chicken, sautéed Mediterranean potatoes, ratatouille, dressed roquette leaves

Gammon parsley veloute, buttered new potatoes, steamed julienne carrots and green beans

 

All main course dishes are served with a selection of vegetables and potatoes, unless stated otherwise

Lemon posset with fennel biscotti

Apple crumble with custard
