Access to other libraries

Inspire is a network of libraries – public, academic, health, specialist and national – allowing reciprocal access for learning purposes.

Our learners and staff can access other libraries with an Inspire ticket (ask a member of staff for a leaflet).

Participating libraries in East Midlands & West Midlands (or search for the institution’s name on the website).

Our College Library welcomes everyone with an Inspire ticket. It can be obtained from local public and other eligible libraries (see links above). Normally, the Inspire ticket holders will be able to borrow printed resources and DVDs free of charge.

Colleges – University of Leicester Network Staff and learners from our College can use the University of Leicester library for reference purposes free of charge.

SCONUL Access – a system for university students and staff. It allows borrowing library resources from other HE institutions. Our College Library is not a member of SCONUL Access scheme.
