Athens is a national authentication scheme allowing you to use a single username and password for a number of online services, incl. e-books. Athens accounts for all learners and staff are free.

How to get Athens access?
Request it in person, by phone or online. Please allow one business day for the account to be set up for you.

What is my Athens?
If you have already requested Athens access, your Athens ID is nwhSTUDENTNUMBER, e.g. nwh123456. Your password is known only to you. If your forgot your Athens password, please reset it here.
