|Introduction||Engineering is an exciting, ever-evolving industry that opens up a huge range of career options. Here at NWHC we have a number of Engineering Apprenticeships available to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills you need pursue your career.
|Study Outline||Depending on your work placement, options include Apprenticeships in: Machining, Electronics, Welding /Fabrication, Design, Maintenance or Technical support.|
|Entry Requirements||You will need to have completed an Intermediate Engineering Apprenticeship and also have at least four GCSEs grade A-C including maths, English and science.
If youre interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

|Equipment||Overalls, safety boots, pen, calculator.
For safety reasons, entry to the workshops will not be allowed without the required safety equipment of overalls and safety boots.|
|Attendance||You will be in the work place for four days per week and attend College for one day per week over 2 years.
|Assessment||Assessment will be via assignments, workplace observation, portfolio evidence and online tests.
|Progression||You could move on to the HNC/HND in Mechcanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.|
