|Introduction||This study programme covers the technical needs for today's classic vehicle repair industry.
It provides essential knowledge and skills for service and repair technicians working on classic vehicles.
You will work with industry standard tools and in equipment in our college workshops.|
|Entry Requirements||GCSE Grades 9 - 4 or successful completion of a Level 1 Motor Vehicle course.
A school report detailing a good attitude and attendance as well as a positive interview is required.|
|Equipment||You will require steel toe cap boots, overalls, pen/pencil, notepad/folder and a memory stick. In addition for body and paint students you will require an industry standard face mask for when painting in the booth.|
|Attendance||You will be required to attend a minimum of 3 days per week as this is a full-time course. It is compulsory for you to attend all sessions including English and Maths. Attendance required must be 90% or above. Work experience is also a mandatory element to the study programme.|
|Assessment||You will be assessed carrying out a number of practical tasks in the workshop, written assignments and a number of on-line assessments for all elements of your study programme elements (including English and Maths).|
|Progression||On successful completion of your study programme including English and Maths, your next step will be to progress onto one of our Level 3 study programmes. To progress attendance must remain above 85%.|
