Mode Of Provision
The programme follows on from the 90 credit Diploma. The learner will have the opportunity to broaden their subject knowledge and experience further work placements.
The programme continues with further units including; values & planning, research, enviromental health, public health and caring for children.
Learners must have a 90 credit Diploma in Health & Social Care. They must have 5 GCSE A Cs including Maths, English and preferably Science. All students are required to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).
No specialist equipment is required
Two years, full time.
Each unit will be assessed through course work and your progress during work placement.
Direct employment in care work or options to study Higher Education courses, including Degrees, in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Youth work.
