IntroductionThe CACHE level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)(QCF) prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enbaling them to work with and care for children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Upon achievement of this qualification it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators.
Study Outlinelearners must achieve 23 mandatory units which are structured around four themes: Health and well-being, Legislation, frameworks and professional practice, Play, development and learning for school readiness and Professional development. You will also be required to undertake a Longitudinal study which is internally assessed by CACHE.
Entry RequirementsGCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
EquipmentAny equipment will be discussed at interview.
AttendanceWorkplace
AssessmentYou will be allocated an Assessor who will support you with your work based assessment and knowledge requirements.
ProgressionHigher Apprenticeships, Team Leading or Level 3 Management.
