IntroductionThis Level 3 Award provides you with advanced training skills which are ideal for those with motivation and dedicated commitment. Work experience is compulsory for those wishing to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Floristry.
Study OutlineDiverse flower and plant care; The creative design process for florists; Diverse tied floral designs; Diverse floral designs for weddings and formal occasions; Assembly of diverse floral arrangements; Functions and events decoration using floral displays; Working within the industry.
Entry RequirementsThe course offers a progression route from the Level 2 Diploma in Floristry. The course is also suitable for those who have worked within industry for a number of years.
EquipmentFloristry tool box to include diverse items, apron and the use of a camera.
AttendanceOne year, full-time (2.5 days per week). It is expected individuals complete 80 hours within the industry as work experience
AssessmentAssessment will be through a series of practical tasks and written assignments. On successful completion you will gain a full Level 3 Diploma in Floristry.
ProgressionAfter successful completion of the Level 3 Diploma in Floristry you will be able to work within industry or work towards successful completion of the Level 4 (ICSF) Floristry programme.
