|Introduction||This qualification is designed for learners entering, or progressing from, entry roles in the Warehousing and Storage industries. Learners will develop the underpinning knowledge necessary to support them in their role in this sector.|
|Study Outline||Develop your knowledge of the six rights associated with Logistics, the different types, functions and benefits of warehousing. Understand how to prepare to receive goods as well as the importance of checking incoming deliveries and taking into consideration the associated Health & Safety risks. The content also covers the importance of customer service and working as part of a team.|
|Entry Requirements||The qualification is available for learners who are 19+ at the start of the Academic year. There are no specific
learning requirements but learners will need to demonstrate that they can fulfil the requirements of the awarding
body assessment criteria and comply with the relevant literacy and numeracy aspects of the qualification|
|Equipment||Each learner receives a set of high quality learning materials comprising assessment booklets and knowledge and understanding books which are a valuable resource to keep for reference purposes.|
|Attendance||The qualification is delivered over a period of 12 weeks.|
|Assessment||Learners receive the support of a dedicated assessor and complete Unit Assessments to demonstrate that they have met the qualification learning aims and assessment criteria.|
