|Introduction||This Apprenticeship is for anyone interested in driving a goods vehicle. Vehicles can range from a bicycle, to a motorcycle, to a van and ultimately to an LGV a lorry weighing over 7.5 tonnes. Goods vehicle drivers transport and deliver goods between suppliers and customers.|
|Study Outline||The Apprenticeship is made up of the following elements:
-Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles
-Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths and English
-Employment Rights & Responsibilities in the Logistics Sector
-Personal Learning & Thinking Skills in Driving Goods Vehicles |
|Entry Requirements||If youre interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

|Equipment||Folder and plastic wallets to build your portfolio.|
|Attendance||14 to 18 months, part time. Day release for Functional Skills elements if required.|
|Assessment||Assessment is via workplace assessments, online test (for functional skills) and completion of a work booklet.
This apprenticeship includes post test driving assessments.|
|Progression||Progression onto an Advanced Apprenticeship or other Logistics and Transport qualifications depending on your role and responsibilities.|
|Qualification||Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles. Level 1 Functional Skills English. Level 1 Functional Skills Maths. Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities in the Logistics Industry.|
