Logistics & Warehousing
Mode Of Provision
Do you currently work in a Warehousing environment? This is a short qualification which will enable you as an individual to achieve a Level 2 Qualification and develop a better knowledge of working safely and responsibly in a Warehouse and Logistics environment.
During the programme you will build a portfolio evidencing your skills against two mandatory units: Maintain Health, Safety and Security and Develop Effective Working Relationships with Colleagues. And up to seven optional units from five optional groups, including: Operate Equipment to Perform Work Requirements; Moving and/or Handling Goods; Receive Goods; Keep Work Areas Clean; Keep Stock at Required Levels; Processing Goods.
There are no formal entry requirements although learners are required to be working within a warehouse environment. As this is a work based qualification your employer must be supportive of enrolment onto this course.
Your own or issued personal protective equipment within your workplace environment. All candidates will undertake a small amount of work in their own time and the employer may need to provide training if necessary.
Six months, part-time.
You will have an appointed assessor, who will support you through the duration of the certificate programme. Maintaining weekly contact for up to an hour on a one-to-one basis within your workplace. The Candidate will complete written knowledge questions/statements and practical observations whilst undertaking associated work duties.
Following the completion of the Level 2 Certificate, you can progress onto a Level 3 Certificate in Logistics Operations depending on your role and responsibilities.
