|Introduction||This Apprenticeship is for those working in administrative roles and supervisory roles within the logistics industry.
Apprentices will hold a team leader or supervisor role for a logistics company and could manage a supply chain or fleet of vehicles.|
|Study Outline||The Apprenticeship is made up of the following elements:
-Level 3 Certificate in Logistics Operations
-Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT
-Employment Rights & Responsibilities in the Logistics Sector
-Personal Learning & Thinking Skills in Traffic Office
Examples of units covered include:
-Health, safety and security at work
-Make an effective contribution to a business in the logistics sector
-Optimise the use of logistics resources|
|Entry Requirements||If youre interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

|Equipment||Folder and plastic wallets to build your portfolio.|
|Attendance||14 to 16 months, part time. Day release for Functional Skills elements if required.|
|Assessment||Assessment is via workplace assessment, online tests (for functional skills) and completion of a work booklet.
|Progression||Progression onto other Logistics and Transport qualifications depending on your role and responsibilities.|
|Qualification||Level 3 Certificate in Logistics Operations. Level 2 Functional Skills English. Level 2 Functional Skills Maths. Level 2 Functional Skills ICT. Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities in the Logistics Industry.|
