Mode Of Provision
This programme is for the advanced practitioner who has completed a Level 2 programme and would like to advance their skills and knowledge further.
On this programme you will study: Safe working practices; Information and communication within the construction industry; Building methods and construction technology; Undertaking structural and decorative Brickwork; Know how to repair and maintain masonry structures and how to erect complex masonry structures.
The entry requirement is successful completion of the Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying and the aptitude and ability to progress and advance your skills further.
Stationery equipment. Prescribed books will also be required.
One year, three full days a week. You must attend all elements of the study programme including English & Maths, tutorials and work experience, the expectation is 95%.
Assessment is via coursework, completed portfolio, practical assessments and practical phase test and end of year exam.
Next steps are employment, Higher Education or university.
