IntroductionLearn about all of the key manufacturing, craft and technical skills you need to work in the Glass and Glazing industry.
Study OutlineThis pathway focuses on Fabrication of Glass Supporting Structures. Examples of units you may cover include: health & safety; communication; preparing equipment for use in the fabrication of glass supporting systems; handle and position materials or components in the fabrication of glass supporting systems; product quality.

AttendanceAttendance will usually be one day per week at college and four days per week in the workplace.

ProgressionPotential job roles include: glazier, PV installer or solar panel installer, craft glass or stain glass worker, double glazing unit maker, engraver, automotive glazing technician or windscreen fitter, frame maker, plus many more.
