|Introduction||This Apprenticeship is ideal if you enjoy, practical hands-on work. The Construction sector as a whole is facing a skills shortage, meaning there will be plenty of jobs available for those skilled in their trade!|
|Study Outline||Examples of units you may cover include:site operation and roofing, health and safety and communication.
|Entry Requirements||If youre interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice. See the Apprenticeships section of our website to discover more and find out about our vacancies service.|
|Equipment||Stationery equipment and Personal Protective equipment to include high-vis vest, safety boots/shoes and recommended textbooks.|
|Attendance||Attendance is usually one day per week at college and four days per week in the work place. This will be confirmed with your employer.|
|Assessment||Your skills will be test by workplace observation, online tests, assignments and portfolio work. You will have a Progress Coach to visit you at work and support you throughout your qualification.
|Progression||This Apprenticeship will equip you with the knowledge and practical skills you need to enter full-time employment. Potential job roles include: carpenter, joiner and construction site manager.|
|Qualification||Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations (Construction), and a Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying.|
