Mode Of Provision
This is a part-time course aimed at someone who is new to using computers or needing to learn more about Microsoft Office 2010 programs.
Learners have to complete three modules from the following options; word processing, spreadsheets, presentations or databases using Microsoft Office 2010.
No previous experience of Microsoft Office is required but learners should have a basic knowledge of using a computer keyboard and mouse.
Memory stick, notebook and pen.
This is a part-time course delivered on Thursday evenings 6-9pm over 18 weeks. Each lesson is of three hours duration and learners need to attend every lesson to obtain the most benefit from the course.
You will produce a portfolio of evidence from the various tasks completed for each of the three modules in class. On successful completion of the coursework learners will receive an Award Certificate to show your competence at this level.
Progression onto the Certificate in IT User Skills (Level 2).
