Mode Of Provision
The course is suitable for learners who have achieved a level 5 in Computing (HND) and wish to top up to a BsC in computing accredited through Coventry University.
During the course students will develop creative computing assets and products from 3D modelling and animation, to how to use and develop adaptive coding within game engines. Students will use cutting edge technology that communicates and shares information with each other.
Students can expect to experience a variety of teaching methodologies including practical workshops, lectures, demonstrations, group discussion, trips / visits, critiques and debates and tutorials.
Units will include
3D Modelling and Animation
Web Based Gaming
Using AI in Computer Games
Final Major Project
HND in Computing.
Course books, a home based computer with Internet access would also be beneficial.

This is a one year programme and learners will need to attend on Mondays and Thursdays. Learners will be expected to conduct independent research/study outside of class times.
Predominately assignment/project based assessment. Other methods used will include group critique, formative and summative feedback (verbal and written) and client feedback.
