Mode Of Provision
This course is designed to meet the needs of students wishing to work in the front of house area of Hospitality. It is designed to develop and enhance food and drink service skills. Along with their supervisory skills
You will study: Level 32 NVQ Diploma in Food and Beverage Service Supervision or equivalent; College certificate Food Safety in Catering; Functional /GCSE'S at an appropriate level; Other opportunities include competition work.
Level 2 Certificate Food and Beverage Service Skills is desirable but not essential, and/or industry experience. Initial/diagnostic assessment results. An individuals qualifications and experience will be considered at interview stage.
You will require a restaurant uniform.
95% attendance is required. One year course
Throughout the course you will build up a portfolio of evidence of your food service skills and knowledge and take part in practical assessments. It will also be delivered by theory classes with written assessments and assignments set in class for work in class and at home.
This qualification enables you to enter and progress within the front of house sector of the Hospitality and Catering industry in a supervisory / management role
