IntroductionThis course is designed to introduce the student to the Hospitality and Catering Industry
Study OutlineAreas studied are: City and Guilds Entry Level 3 in Introduction to Hospitality, Level 1 Award in creative craft-International cookery, Functional skills at an appropriate level.
Entry RequirementsEvidence of completing a Maths and English qualification and 3 GCSEs grade f-G
EquipmentKitchen uniform, basic knife set, stationery. A full uniform list will be provided.
AttendanceOne year, full-time
AssessmentThroughout the course you will be given assignment work to complete in a supported environment.
ProgressionOn successful completion of this course you could progress onto an Level 1 NVQ Certificate in in Hospitality kitchen and restaurant
