Mode Of Provision
You will benefit from this course if you work in the accounting or finance function within a commercial organisation or the public sector. The qualification is recognised within the accounting profession and is supported by most of the Chartered Accountancy bodies. This qualification gives a sound basis for further study with one of the Chartered Accountancy bodies.
You will study units on: Financial Statements of Ltd Companies, Management Accounting Budgeting, Management Accounting decision and Control, Accounting Systems and Controls, Personal Tax, and Credit Management.
Successful completion of the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting or a university degree in accountancy.
No specialist equipment is required
Part-time one year.
Units will be assessed by one of the following:
Unit assessment only (online examination)
Synoptic Assessment Only
Unit assessment and as part of the Synoptic Assessment
Each Level of qualification has one Synoptic Assessment, which tests understanding of a connections between range of topics covered during the qualification.
Employment as an Accounting Technician or to progress to a Chartered Accountancy qualification.
