IntroductionIf you have a creative flair and great communication and organisational skills then a career in Marketing could be for you. This Apprenticeship will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to to kick start your career in this exciting industry.
Study OutlineExamples of units you may cover include: -Collect and organise market research data -Contribute to measuring the marketing response -Work with other people in a business environment -Improve own performance in a business environment Optional units may include: -Contribute to conducting direct marketing campaigns -Use digital and social media in marketing campaigns -Analyse competitor activity -Support the co-ordination of an event
Entry RequirementsIf you’re interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice. See the Apprenticeships section of our website to discover more and find out about our vacancies service.
AttendanceThis qualification will be delivered entirely in the workplace. You will be assigned an Assessor who will visit you on a regular basis to monitor progress and guide you through the qualification.
AssessmentFor the NVQ Certificate in marketing you will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence to cover the knowledge and performance. The theory element of the qualification, Certificate in principles of marketing is covered by assignments and short answer questions - done under exam conditions. You are also required to achieve Maths, English and ICT functional skills at level 1 (exemptions may apply depending on qualifications previously achieved)
ProgressionPotential job roles include: Event Management Assistant, Junior Marketing Executive, Market Researcher. You can also progress to the Advanced Level Apprenticeship.
