|Study Outline||Mandatory units you will cover are:
Communication in a business environment
Principles of providing administrative services
Principles of business document production and information management
Understand employer organisations
Manage personal performance and development
Develop working relationships with colleagues
Potential optional units include:
Use a telephone and voicemail system
Provide reception services
Use and maintain office equipment
|Entry Requirements||If youre interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

|Attendance||This qualification is delivered entirely in the workplace. You will be assigned an Assessor who will visit you in the workplace on a regular basis to monitor progress and provide support during your Apprenticeship.|
|Assessment||You will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence to prove competence, for the Diploma in Business Administration and you will also need to achieve functional skills Maths, English and ICT at level 1 (exemptions may apply depending on previous qualification achievements)|
|Progression||Potential job roles include: Administrator/Business Support Office, Office Junior, Receptionist. You can also progress to the Advanced Level Apprenticeship. |
