IntroductionA more advanced course for Learners who either work in accounting or who already have a knowledge of the accounting function. Learners will normally have studied the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting or have experience of the basic principles covered at Level 3
Study OutlineThe course covers all aspects of the Accounting function and comprises 6 modules: -Financial Performance -Financial Statements -Budgeting -Credit Control -Personal Tax -Internal Controls and Accounting Systems
Entry RequirementsLearners will normally have completed their AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting before progressing to the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Learners with an A Level background or experience of the Accounting function in work will also be very welcome
EquipmentPen, Paper, Ruler and of course a calculator!
Attendance1 Day a week or two nights a week ( Monday and Thursday Nights )
AssessmentThe course involves 6 areas of study which are all examined through the use of Computerised assessments. There are no portfolios or assignments to complete and most assessments will give you an instant result and the opportunity to resit where necessary
