IntroductionThis is equivalent to studying three A Levels. The programme takes two years and you will study 18 subjects. It is assignment based and there are no formal exams, though work will be checked by Internal Verifiers and an external Standards Verifier after it has been assessed by the teaching team.

Attendance100% attendance and what you will be expected to achieve. It is expected that you should attend all business lectures including functional skill sessions and tutorials.
AssessmentYou will be assessed through the completion of business reports, case study analysis, group activities and presentations. Your work will be graded Pass, Merit or Distinction. If your work does not meet the standard expected for a suitable grade you may be given the opportunity to resubmit.
ProgressionMany students completing the 90 Credit Diploma progress on to the Extended Diploma which is in effect the second year of the program. Some who choose not to continue on to the second year enter an apprenticeship scheme, go directly into employment or enter another course of study. There are a multitude of paths to take, including: Accountancy, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Management and Administration. Some use their business knowledge and skills to set up in business.
