|Introduction||Computing is an integral part of everyday life. With technology developing at a faster rate than ever before, this is an ever evolving industry with a huge range of career options. This Apprenticeship includes a balance of content in technical, business and interpersonal areas.|
|Study Outline||As part of this Apprenticeship, you'll cover the Level 3 OCR Diploma in ICT Professional Competence; example units include:
-Customer support provision for the ICT professional
-Customer care in ICT
-Interpersonal and written communication
-Computer games development
Functional Skills are mandatory and include English, Maths and ICT at Level 2, an induction covering workplace Employment Rights and Responsibilities and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills will also be covered.|
|Entry Requirements||An Intermediate Apprenticeship (Level 2) or an existing Level 2 qualification or previous experience in the sector.
If youre interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

|Equipment||No specialist equipment is required.|
|Attendance||The Apprenticeship is attained in the workplace and takes 15 months to complete.|
|Assessment||You will be assessed in the workplace. |
|Progression||Potential job roles include: Software/Web Developer, Desktop Support Engineer, Network Planner, Database Administrator, Network Engineer, Software Testing.
You may also go on to a higher Apprenticeship.|
