|Introduction||The Level 6 Professional diploma is aimed at senior procurement professionals and heads of department to provide the knowledge, skills and understanding in relation to strategic direction and advice, in areas such as change management, stakeholder management and team leadership.
The qualification is designed for those working within the following typical job titles; Strategic / Senior / Purchasing or Procurement Manager, Head of Commercial, Supply Chain Manager, Head of Logistics / Transport, Operations Manager. There are no age restrictions in relation to this qualification.|
|Study Outline||Supply chain diligence: on completion of this unit, the learner will be able to understand the impact of globalisation on supply chains. In addition the learner will have an appreciation of the financial aspects that impact on supply chains such as project finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial measures of organisations, corporate governance, legal issues such as competition law and workforce issues that impact on organisations.|
|Entry Requirements||You will need to have achieved the CIPS Advanced diploma in procurement and supply.

Core skills upon completion of this qualification:
Ability to formulate direction and advice; change management; leading and influencing both internal and external stakeholders in procurement and supply and the management of teams and individuals.|
|Equipment||No special equipment necessary, you will be provided with a course text and the CIPS study material.|
|Attendance||Your sessions will be on a Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 5pm|
|Assessment||All units are assessed via an examination, CIPS examinations for qualifications units are hand written and paper-based.
South Leicestershire College is an approved examination centre for CIPS so you can sit your exam at the college.

|Progression||You may want to progress to one of the other Level 6 modules, if all five modules are complete then you will achieve the Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.|
