Mode Of Provision
You will benefit from this course if you work in the accounting or finance function either within a commercial organisation or the public sector. The qualification is recognised within the accounting profession and is supported by most of the Chartered Accountancy bodies.
You will study units on: Advanced Bookkeeping, Final Accounts Preparation, Management Accounting Costing, Indirect Tax, Ethics for Accountants, Spreadsheets for Accounting
Successful completion of the AAT Certificate in Accounting or extensive experience of manual double entry bookkeeping or a university degree (in any discipline).
No specialist equipment is required
One year, part time
Units will be assessed by one of the following:
Unit assessment only (online examination)
Synoptic Assessment Only
Unit assessment and as part of the Synoptic Assessment
Each Level of qualification has one Synoptic Assessment, which tests understanding of a connections between range of topics covered during the qualification.
To progress on the the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
