|Introduction||Covering both domestic and commercial interior design this professionally oriented course, embraces a unique approach through studio-based design studies of interior space and volume planning, complemented by awareness of sustainability, materials, colour and texture, contextual and professional practice.|
|Study Outline||This course concentrates on the relationship between design, technology and developing a personal creative style. You will be able to experiment with various presentation techniques, such as 2D drawing, mood boards and 3D modeling. All these skills are then explored, developed and implemented in a variety of exciting studio-based and live projects.|
|Entry Requirements||18+ at entry, with a creative portfolio of work reflecting personality, imagination, enthusiasm, drive and maturity, plus one of the following: 240 UCAS Points; BTEC Level 3 with MMM; 3 A Levels; Level 3/4 Dip in Foundation Studies, GCSE English grade C or above, or equivalent.

|Attendance||Two years, full-time. Three Years Part-time|
|Assessment||Progress is monitored by continuous assessment procedures. Students receive regular feedback at assessment points during the course. Students will be required to complete all units and the points scored for each unit form the end grade.|
|Progression||Successful completion of the course can lead directly into employment or onto the third year of a level 6 programme.|
