IntroductionThis is an Introductory course aimed at adults and SMEs who would like to learn the basic skills to produce and publish a website which features a gallery of own images. The course will cover: basic website design skills including design, structure layout and navigation. Once the website is beginning to take shape learners will learn how to take the perfect photograph, using advanced DSLR Camera’s considering lighting and composition and will learn how to enhance and edit photos using Photoshop before selecting their best shots and uploading them into the website gallery. Upon completion of the course students will have a fully functioning website created that can be uploaded to the worldwide web.
Study OutlineA basic understanding of IT is essential.
Entry RequirementsSessions will be delivered from a fully equipped Design IT suite and photography studio. All essential software will be provided. Where possible learners are asked to bring their own DSLR camera however a supply will be available for use during sessions. Learners will be required to bring a 16GB memory stick and 8GB SD card for storage of files and capturing of images.
