The student community in the College is supportive and friendly and each student will have the chance to be involved in events and activities, including: Freshers Festival, Fundraising Events, Film Clubs, Sport Events, Trips, the Student Magazine and much more!

Get involved!

Sports

All students are eligible for a free gym membership at the College’s Sports and Fitness Centre, wherfacilities include new gym equipment, a spinning studio and one to one personal training.

The Football Academy has been running for 14 years, and includes coaching and matches throughout your time at college. Ask our coaches on how you can get involved! 

North Warwickshire & Hinckley College also gives you the opportunity to try new leisure activities including Zumba, Kickboxing, Table Tennis and Pilates, which all take place during your day at College.

Charity Events

Our College is proactive in raising money for local and national charities, including the Nuneaton Foodbank, Breast Cancer Awareness and Children in Need and many more. Past fundraising activities include a sleep out, cake baking and fancy dress days!

Become a Course Representative!

As a Course Representative at NWHC, you will have the opportunity to promote the College at events such as Open Evenings, School Events as well as our annual Fashion Show! Course Reps must be enthusiastic and be able to talk to others about their experience at College. Representing the College is a great way to meet new people, as well as looks great on your CV!

The Student Experience Team

It is really important that you get the most from College Life. The role of the Student Experience Team is to make your time at College an outstanding experience.

The team offers a wide range of exciting and fun activities which include games, events, trips, quizzes, competitions, fundraising and volunteering opportunities.

The skilled and highly qualified youth workers are located in the Student Centres at Nuneaton, Hinckley & Harrowbrook Campuses. If you want to learn new skills, try new experiences or just fancy a chat the team are always willing to help!
