We are one of the few colleges in the country with a specific strategy around competitions and we actively promote the competitive spirit. We think competition work is very important as it encourages you to demonstrate your skills, to strive for excellence and to achieve your best.
Going for Gold
From 17-19 November 2016, the College will once again be attending the Skills show the UK’s largest skills and careers event at the NEC in Birmingham.
The Skills Show hosts the WorldSkills UK national competitions, bringing skills to life as the best of the best demonstrate their incredible ability. As an official organising partner, the college will have a high profile at the show, with many College students taking part in competitions and events throughout the week.
We are also proud to be part of the Premier College group, made up of 20 of the UK’s leading colleges and sponsors of the Skills show.
The Skills show inspires and transforms young people’s lives through a series of interactive events held across the UK. Discover skills, careers and opportunities you might never have considered before.
