New for 2017: Property Maintenance Apprenticeship

Our new Property Maintenance standard is ideal for those looking to begin or progress their career in the maintenance field.

What is a Property Maintenance Operative?

A Property Maintenance Operative optimises the condition and quality of a property and ensures buildings are kept in safe working order.

What will you learn?

You will learn about the mechanism of buildings including electrical, plumbing, plant, safety systems and equipment. You will provide first and immediate response to fault finding and will ensure prevention of major damage that could result in extensive costs.

What level is it?

The new standard is available at Intermediate Level 2, which is the equivalent to five GCSEs at C or above.

Why do an Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship allows you to work as a paid employee within an organisation whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification. So if you want to get stuck in right away, earning a wage and gaining real work experience then the Apprenticeship option is for you.

For those days when you complete off-site training, you will be based at our Training Centre located in Harrowbrook Industrial Estate, Hinckley, home to dedicated Construction workshops.
