National Apprenticeship Week 2012

North Warwickshire & Hinckley College is supporting National Apprenticeships Week, which is taking place from Monday 6 February to Friday 10 February 2012.

As part of this week, the College will be running a range of events. These include:

  • Get fit for Apprenticeships – Our Fitness Apprentices who will be launching the week promoting vacancies available in the sector
  • Hairdressing showcase – A chance to see our hairdressing Apprentices style creations
  • Apprenticeship Awareness Day – An event that focuses around apprenticeships running within the Logistics and Warehousing sector
  • Tours of the Hospitality & Catering Department - A chance for you to see what you will learn as an Catering Apprentice on a day release, as well as see the College's kitchens and restaurants in service
  • Hairdressing Competitions - See our Hairdressing Apprentices put their skills to the test
  • Community stand – The College will be in the Britannia Shopping Centre to raise awareness of Apprenticeships and other programmes on offer.

Apprenticeships Careers Event

 Our main highlight for the week is the Apprenticeships Careers Event taking place on Wednesday 8 February at Velvet night club in Nuneaton from 5.00pm until 8.00pm.

At the event you will find out about how becoming an Apprentice will benefit you – our staff will be on hand to provide information about the wide range of Apprenticeships we offer, including information about vacancies we currently have with employers.

Our friendly Customer Service Team will also be there to provide advice and guidance to students who are unsure of what to study next.
