Adult students Courses Access to Higher Education

Access to Higher Education

If you have thought about university-level study but may not have the required entry qualifications, don't worry! We have courses that will fully prepare you for Higher Education.

First Steps

This programme has been designed as a stepping stone for anyone wishing to enter on to the Access to Higher Education Programme.

This full time programme will be delivered over three days per week for 30 weeks and gives students the opportunity to improve their literacy and numeracy, as well as developing research and IT skills.

Access to Higher Education

The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a programme of study for adult learners over the age of 19 who wish to enter into a new career or further their study. It provides a spring board to enter university to study at degree or diploma level. The Access to Higher Education Diploma is endorsed by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and is a recognised certificate, providing an alternative to A Levels.
