The Student Union

Student Union

The Student Union is an elected group of students. Their role includes being the voice for students within the College. Students attend student parliament meetings, organise social events such as movie nights and charity events, issue NUS Extra Cards and work closely with the student governors.

The student union have an office in the Nuneaton Student Centre where NUS cards are issued each day. For a timetable of when NUS Extra cards are issued and what you need to purchase one please see ‘The Voice’ or Moodle.

For more information on how you can become part of the Student Union ask a member of the Student Liaison Team. The team can also advise you on the benefits of NUS cards or you can visit www.nus.org.uk

In addition, we annually recruit a group of Learner Involvement Volunteers who work closely with the Student Union to ensure that students have a voice in College. These volunteers play an active part in the College Community both inside and outside the College.

Student Liaison Team

The role of the College’s Student Liaison Team is to make your stay at College a first-class experience. You will have access to an Enrichment Programme that is designed to enhance your main programme of study. You can learn skills, try new experiences, accept new challenges, develop a whole range of personal and social skills and more importantly meet new friends and have fun! In addition we can offer a whole range of support services, including a range of sexual health services and a listening ear on issues that affect you.
