North Warwickshire & Hinckley College is a member of the Co-operative British Youth Film Academy, working with the Academy to support the production of films and enabling students to gain valuable work experience on real film sets.
In 2011 the College will be working with the Academy again with filming set to take place at the College’s Nuneaton Campus. Make-up Artistry. Hair & Beauty and Fashion students from the College will also be supporting the project.
Over the summer of 2010, the College worked with the Academy on a retelling of a William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.
In 2009 the College worked with the Academy in the production of The Perfect Burger, a Co-operative British Youth Film Academy feature film project, directed by actor Todd Carty. Filmed on location in Hinckley and using the College’s Hinckley Campus as a base over a five week period, the children’s horror story is set in a school.

This partnership with the Co-operative British Youth Film Academy is an example of the lengths we go to in order to ensure we raise aspirations by providing you with exciting and relevant opportunities during your studies.
