Staying Safe The College maintains a safe learning environment by emphasising a co-operative team spirit, sense of community and responsibility for others. At induction learners are made aware of the college’s bullying and harassment policy and the support they will be given if they feel they need help and support. The positive culture is fostered by Personal Tutors and the Student Liaison Team within group tutorials and the enrichment programme. |

Enjoying and Achieving The College ensures that all students have a personal tutor to monitor their personal progress and in particular the achievements of agreed Individual Learning Plan targets. The personal tutors will discuss support requirements as necessary and ensure that all students are making the progress expected of them. |

Making a Positive Contribution All learners are encouraged to become actively involved in the life of the College via the student involvement strategy. The Student Liaison Team supports all students in ensuring that they have a voice at College. The Team supports and trains students who are involved in their curriculum area’s Student Forums. Students also have the opportunity to join the Student Parliament which is chaired by the College Principal. Students can get involved in the many College Committees, to ensure that they have a voice in all aspects of the College experience, as well as being Student Governors on the College Corporation. |
