Competitions

The College encourages all students to participate in regional, national, European and international competitions. It is seen as a positive forum where students can demonstrate their talents whilst being supported, both by the College and the competition organisers.
It also helps to stretch students and enable them to develop their expertise that not only demonstrates their vocational prowess, but also their ability to work under pressure, as well as enhancing employment opportunities.
It recognises, through participation, the value of a skills-based career and helps raise the profile and standard of the necessary skills to address national economic needs.
Feedback from students who have already participated in College organised competitions strongly emphasise the enjoyment, camaraderie and additional learning opportunities that they have experienced whilst competing.
